How to Create A Race 


  • Click  on the left side of the screen
  • Find the  tab
  • Click on 
  • At the bottom of the page under Triathlon Event List, click   
  • Enter the Title of the Race, Start Time/Date, Type of Event (Triathlon, Biathlon, Duathlon, Walk, Run, Bike, Swim, X-terra or other) and Status (Open, Closed, Finish or Cancelled)
  • If this is a USAT race, check the box
  • Enter the Heats Grouped By Single Start (a mass start); Gender and/or Teams (no lanes); or First Leg Time (or multiple times) ; If selecting Gender/Teams or First Leg Time make sure to indicate your heats and your lanes per heat
  • Check if needed
  • Enter Maximum Starting Positions, Maximum Number of Teams, Waiting List Size, Reserved Positions, Age Restrictions (make sure they are accurate)
  • Check the Show Item Size Field box to show sizes or specific women's sizes; enter the Item Size text you'd like you appear
  • Enter the Individual Base Cost, Team Base Cost, Early Discount for Individuals & Teams (subtracted from base cost) and the Late Fee (added to base cost)
  • Click  at the bottom of your Event Details page and then   on your RaceManager Pro Event Settings page

 

 

How to Add Event Legs 


 

  • Find the  tab
  • Click  
  • Select    next to your race 
  • At the bottom of the window under Event Legs click the    button
  • Enter which Leg, Sport, Distance and Scale then click  ; Repeat as needed then click

How to Edit a Pre-Existing Race


 

  • Find the   tab
  • Click on 
  • Cick    next to your race; Edit information and click  

 

 

How to Copy a Race for a New Year


 

  • Find the   tab
  • Click on 
  • Click   next to your race
  • Enter New Title and Start Date/Time of Event and Click 
  • Your new race will appear under Event List and Click  to change any race information and click 

 

 

Assigning Heats and Numbers Setup for Single Start Race


  • Select your Event
  • Find the  tab
  • Click (what you entered in the Event Settings when creating your race, will appear here) so if correct, click  and
  • Click on
  • Select the start for the type of race
  • Read all instructions; Enter your First Bib and/or Chip Numbers; check the "I understand and want to continue" box and click

 

Assigning Heats and Numbers for a Gender and/or Team Race


  • Select your Event
  • Find the  tab
  • Click on 
  • Enter Event Start Actual Time, number of Heats or Starts and number of Lanes/Heats and click  (**remember if this is a Gender and/or Teams start, you need to select at least 2 heats and no more than 3**)
  • Enter Default #/Lane and Number of Minutes for first heat and click 
  • To assign numbers, click
  • Select the start for the type of race
  •  Read all the instructions and check the box; Enter heat order (this will determine what order they race in) and start numbers for genders/teams; then click Assign Heats & Numbers button at the bottom of the page
  • To View or Print a Heat Sheet Report, go to the  tab; select ; Select which heat or all heats you'd like to view/print

Assigning Heats and Numbers for a First Leg time Race


  • Select your Event
  • Find the   tab
  • Click on (what you entered in the Event Settings when creating your race, will automatically appear here); if information is correct click  and
  • Find and select the  button at the bottom of your heat page
  • Enter your Bib and/or Chip Number and click ; This will automatically assign numbers to all participants and show you how your heats will now appear
  • To View or Print a Heat Sheet Report, go to the  tab; select ; Select which heat or all heats you'd like to view/print

How to view statuses of athletes


  • Click on

  • To Edit/Delete any of the althelete entries, click  or

How to Convert a Solo Athlete to a Team


  • Click on your Event, that contains the athlete you want to convert
  • Click on 
  • Click  on the solo individual you want to convert to a team
  • Under Event Specific Information, click on 
  • Enter the New Team Name and if the team is Co-ed, All Male or All Female then click  and 

 

 

How to Convert a Solo Athlete to a Pre-Existing Team


  • Click on  and Select the Race 
  • Go to the  link at the top of the page 
  • Click Edit next to the Solo Entry you wish to convert to a Team
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the Solo Athlete's status to  and click 
  • Now click  next to the Team you want to add the Solo Athlete to
  • Click on 
  • Select the name of the Solo Athlete on the drop down  and Click  and 


How to Convert a Pre Existing Team Member to a Solo Athlete 


  • Click on  and Select the Race 
  • Go to the  link at the top of the page
  • Click Edit next to the Pre Existing Team Member you want to convert into a Solo Athlete 
  • Click on 
  • Select the name of the Team Member you want to convert on the drop down  and click  and

How to Add Placeholder Entries 


  • Click on  and select the race
  • Go to the  Tab
  • Click  and enter the number of  and an estimated 1st leg time and Click  and  
  • To view placeholder entries. click

 

To Enter Athlete into Placeholder Entry


  • Go in on the front end and register as a solo or team
  • Now back in the cms, click on  and click
  • click  next to the  (the place holder entry will show up as 00000,00000)
  • Select  under the Event Specific Information; next to Athlete to put in, select the athlete's name on the drop down then click Sub Entry and Done

  • Now to assign numbers, Click  ; Select the race start type then enter the first bib number and click

 

How to add an Entry in the CMS


  • Select the  tab
  • Click on
  • Enter the appropiate information then click ; Enter the next race number and click
